Danielle Sabrina

About

Danielle Sabrina was never supposed to make it.

She grew up in the group home system, became a mother as a teenager and dropped out of high school. By 19, she was one of the youngest traders on Wall Street.

That pattern of beating the odds became the foundation of her career. Over the past 26 years in venture capital and private equity, Danielle has helped companies go from seed to IPO, take over their categories and raise over $3.7B. She helped scale PatientPop from a small founding team to $100M in ARR before its merger with Kareo to form Tebra, then went on to help the same founders launch Bonsai Health. Along the way, she built a multimillion-dollar organization, lost it all, and rebuilt it.

Over 26 years. Seed to IPO. Over $3.7B raised.

Today she is the founder and CEO of Society22 PR, a boutique strategic communications agency serving fintech, healthtech, legal tech, B2B SaaS and financial services companies. Inc. has named Society22 one of the fastest-growing companies in America, and Entrepreneur ranked it the #5 Best Entrepreneurial Company.

Her work goes beyond business. After her daughter was attacked, Danielle launched a viral global anti-bullying campaign that led to legislation presented before the Supreme Court. She is also the founder of The Avayah Institute, where women find the support to get back on their feet and build safe, stable, loving homes and fulfilling careers and businesses.

Danielle is a sought-after speaker and moderator who has taken the stage at SXSW, Adweek, Inbound and many others. Her methodology, The Story Before the Stage, helps founders, executives and audiences turn their hardest chapters into their greatest advantage.
